The Thistle Haydock is a modern hotel built in Georgian style and set in landscaped gardens with close access to the M6 motorway; it is located midway between Liverpool and Manchester being just fifteen miles from both. There is a frequent train service between the airport and Manchester Piccadilly Station in the city center. Taxis are available outside the Arrivals hall of each terminal. The airport's bus network provides direct services to many local centers, as well as links to other towns and cities. All buses call at the airport bus station located outside Terminal 1 International Arrivals.
From Manchester Airport, exit onto the M56. Leave the M56, signposted M6 North (Preston). Exit M6 at junction 23 for the hotel.
