The Donatello is a modern high rise hotel and conference centre situated in the town of Imola, one kilometre from the famous Ferrari Autodrome, and 32 kilometres from the city of Bologna. This 10 storey hotel features 140 guestrooms, all of which have warm decor with modern furnishings and parquet floors. All rooms are air conditioned and include cable television, direct dial phones and safes.
A buffet breakfast is served each morning and the hotel's Il Veliero Restaurant offers regional cuisine, fresh fish dishes, and wood oven baked pizzas. Guests can enjoy a swim in the outdoor swimming pool, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside from the terrace. The Saletta Pianoforte lounge features crimson leather armchairs and a piano for live music, and there is also a wood panelled tavern bar for a relaxing drink. The Donatello Congress Centre features five meeting rooms capable of accommodating conferences and seminars of between 20 and 200 persons. Parking is provided in the underground garage. Fans of Formula One are just one kilometre from the excitement of the Ferrari Autodrome (one kilometre away) and further afield guests can visit the 12th century castle of San Pietro Terme (14 kilometres) and the Adriatic Coast (60 kilometres). Bologna Airport (BOL) is approximately 40 minutes drive, a distance of 32 kilometres (19 miles).
