The Scandic Espoo is a modern hotel located next to the Turku motorway, which provides a direct route into Helsinki, 13 kilometres away. This six floor hotel features 96 air conditioned guestrooms with wooden floors, all of which include wireless Internet access, televisions, hair dryers, minibars and safes.
After a busy day guests can relax in the four saunas on the top floor, before plunging into the swimming pool to cool off; a range of fitness equipment is available for more active guests. The restaurant serves international dishes throughout the day, and there is a library corner with books and magazines, and a play area for kids. Business guests can make use of five meeting rooms with capacity for up to 80 people. Guests wishing to learn about the region's history can visit Glims Farmstead Museum, five kilometres away. The museum is part of a farm dating back to the Middle Ages, where there are regular demonstrations of working methods, as well as musical performances and story telling.
